A New Life features a preacher-ish, 'in the beginning there was jack'-style vocal, though not THAT one, and comes in five mixes courtesy of Javier Aguilar, Rafa Barrios, Minimal Rockets and of course Barbero and Varez themselves. The Original is a clubby tech-house stomper, Barrios' two rubs (Remix and Dub) are busy and chuggy in a more technoid kinda way, Minimal Rockets' rub is stripped n' jackin' while finally – though most pleasingly to these ears – Javier Aguilar's hypnotic, slightly proggy refix is where the deep house heads will want to, er, head.
With mixes to suit a range of tastes, then, this is well worth checking.
